Published: December 20, 2015

Synopsis:

Sin City isn’t ready for Mitch Monroe…

The cocky, irresistible Justice Team member is about to take Vegas by storm with his partner, sexy FBI sniper, Caroline Foster. They’re on the hunt for the missing daughter of a US Senator who might be the victim of foul play.

But is Mitch ready for Sin City?

Caroline—the only woman Mitch has ever loved—must go undercover as a contestant taking the place of the senator’s daughter on the hottest reality TV show of the year. While bachelor after bachelor throws himself at Caroline, Mitch must sit by and watch, knowing each and every one of them is a possible suspect.

What happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas.

Mitch has never been one to play by the rules or sit on the sidelines. Manipulating his way into a spot on the show, he becomes Caroline’s dream mate, and the lines between fiction and reality begin to blur. But when the chips are down and Caroline’s life is in danger, can Mitch—a bachelor to his core—handle the sin, sex, and a night of debauchery that could end with a band around his finger?

Review:

It was so much fun to jump back into the world of Caroline Foster and Mitch Monroe!

I thoroughly loved every minute I spent reading this novella. Caroline and Mitch have moved comfortably into their jobs with the Justice Team, though in their personal life Caroline’s mother is making things a little less-than-comfortable with some not-so-subtle hinting about wedding planning. Mitch loves Caroline, knows she’s “it” for him, but is equally convinced that marriage just isn’t an option.

I know. Men.

Their personal controversy gets put on the back burner, though, when their boss–and Mitch’s best friend, Grey–gives Caroline a new assignment: go undercover at on a Vegas-based reality show to find a senator’s daughter who has disappeared. Mitch, who first wasn’t supposed to go and next wasn’t supposed to show up on the set, is dragged into the show as well and then the sparks start to seriously fly. These two can always be counted on for great banter and steamy scenes, but throw in a skanky wardrobe (for Caroline) and some sleezy guys to get Mitch’s jealous streak going? You’ve got gold.

So much fun to read. Naturally, they get their guy and save the girl–and maybe get a bonus event in there somewhere too. You’ll have to read it to find out, though 😉

Undercover Justice is part of the Justice Team series. If you’ve read the others (especially Mitch and Caroline’s story,Cheating Justice ) you’ll love this addition. If you haven’t, it should still work well as a standalone–though the fun, sexy writing style and characters will definitely have you adding the backlist to your TBR pronto!
