OMG, this book–it’s capable of steaming up your reading glasses…that’s not even a tiny bit of an exaggeration. Seriously.

Theirs to Take is the latest offering in Kaye’s erotic romance series, Blasphemy, featuring 12 Masters who all co-own a BDSM club named, of course, Blasphemy. This book has two of them, Cruz and Johnathan, best friends and coworkers and…something more? Maybe? Probably?

I really liked the three main characters–Cruz, Jay, and Hartley–and felt they all worked well together. Things moved a bit on the fast side here, though, at least where Hartley is concerned (the other two have known each other for ages, so they get a pass on the falling in love in a novella issue) and I would have liked to have seen more relationship development along with all of the whoa-did-that-just-happen? scenes…in other words, this would have been great as a full-length read. Still, this one fits right in with the series sexy, steamy, and romantic all at once–it’s nice to see two more Masters find their HEAs, and many of the other series characters make appearances here as well, which was fun.

Theirs to Take would probably work okay as a standalone, but honestly if you read and like an excerpt of it, you’ll more than likely enjoy the whole series…so do yourself a favor and grab this one but start at book one ( Hard to Serve ) to get the full experience.
