From the team behind #1 New York Times bestseller Five Feet Apart comes a gripping new romance that asks: Can you find true love after losing everything?

Kyle and Kimberly have been the perfect couple all through high school, but when Kimberly breaks up with him on the night of their graduation party, Kyle’s entire world upends—literally. Their car crashes and when he awakes, he has a brain injury. Kimberly is dead. And no one in his life could possibly understand.

Until Marley. Marley is suffering from her own loss, a loss she thinks was her fault. And when their paths cross, Kyle sees in her all the unspoken things he’s feeling.

As Kyle and Marley work to heal each other’s wounds, their feelings for each other grow stronger. But Kyle can’t shake the sense that he’s headed for another crashing moment that will blow up his life as soon as he’s started to put it back together.

And he’s right.

Review:

I’m still processing this one.

All This Time is a book with twists–and the story that comes out on the other side of each of them manages to have a very different vibe than the one we just left. The beginning, Kyle dealing with the aftermath of the accident and his grief, was beautifully written, and I really liked where he was managing to go with his life–though there was a niggling feeling all along the way that something wasn’t quite right.

Then, twist.

The next part of the story has Kyle starting all over again, though he isn’t really, for reasons I’m not going to reveal because I don’t want to spoil anything. Once again, though–the story took on a new vibe and a new direction, and for a while I honestly wasn’t sure what to think about it. The book lost some of its realism here, becoming more fairy tale-like, though it was still very sweet.

Then, the last twist.

The authors take us all the way to the edge– I was about to lose it, I really was–before pulling us back in for the ending, cementing the fairy tale/fantasy/magical realism aspect of the story once and for all. The author’s note at the end helped me to understand the choices they made here, which definitely helped. I would have liked for the story to be more reliably consistent than it ended up being, but I can’t say it didn’t keep me turning the pages.
