EVERYWHERE AND EVERY WAY
by Jennifer Probst
The Billionaire Builders, #1

BLURB:

Hot on the heels of her beloved Marriage to a Billionaire novels, New York Times bestselling author Jennifer Probst nails it with the first in an all-new sexy romance series featuring red-hot contractor siblings who give the Property Brothers a run for their money!

Ever the responsible eldest brother, Caleb Pierce started working for his father’s luxury contracting business at a young age, dreaming of one day sitting in the boss’s chair. But his father’s will throws a wrench in his plans by stipulating that Caleb share control of the family business with his two estranged brothers.

Things only get more complicated when demanding high-end home designer Morgan hires Caleb to build her a customized dream house that matches her specifications to a T—or she’ll use her powerful connections to poison the Pierce brothers’ reputation. Not one to ignore a challenge, Caleb vows to get the job done—if only he can stop getting distracted by his new client’s perfect…amenities.

But there’s more to icy Morgan than meets the eye. And Caleb’s not the only one who knows how to use a stud-finder. In fact, Morgan is pretty sure she’s found hers—and he looks quite enticing in a hard hat. As sparks fly between Morgan and Caleb despite his best intentions not to mix business and pleasure, will she finally warm up and help him lay the foundation for everlasting love?

Review:

Everywhere and Every Way was so much fun to read! I honestly lost track of how many times I laughed out loud while reading it–it’s a perfect blend of humor and fun and sexy romance with more than a little bit of family drama and just a touch of angst to give it a bit of an edge.

I loved Caleb and Morgan together–even when they thought they couldn’t stand each other, they had fantastic chemistry. I liked that they could acknowledge (internally, of course!) that they found the other person attractive without it seeming like too much too soon and insta-lusty. Their progression from “let’s keep this casual for the few months we have here” to “this could be something more” was believable; it was pretty much impossible not to root for them. Morgan was keeping a pretty big secret from him, though, which was completely understandable when they weren’t yet serious but that she definitely should have told him sooner once they were. (More than once she was going to tell him but didn’t, and I’m not sure exactly why. Reasons weren’t really given at the time, which was a little confusing, but honestly, that’s my biggest complaint with the book and I’m not even sure “complaint” isn’t too strong a word to use for it.)

Oh, and I adored Morgan’s pink hard hat and work boots and the way she gave as good as she got while at the work site. She’s my hero! Total girl crush time 🙂

As awesome as Caleb and Morgan are, though, the book’s secondary characters very nearly steal the show at times. I loved Cal’s brothers Tristan and Dalton; the dynamic between the three is just fantastic. Cal’s assistant Sydney and her daughter Becca, Brady the architect, new-to-the-town bar owner Raven, heck, even Cal’s mastiffs Gandalf and Balin were just so much fun to read about. I pretty much wanted to just crawl into the book and be besties with everyone in there.

And maybe ogle a few shirtless construction workers (and a foreman, and master woodcraftsman, and real estate mogul, and architect…) while I’m at it. But I digress.

Cal and his brothers had some pretty big issues to work on in the book–they get a good start here, definitely, though I could definitely see them having to deal with residuals in future series books. Man, did their parents do a number on those poor guys…

I cannot wait for Dalton’s story, Any Time and Any Place , which is the next in the series to be released. Fingers crossed that Tristan and Sydney will be the stars of book 3–heck, I’m even hoping that non-Pierce-brother Brady’s going to get a book! If the rest of the Billionaire Builders series is just like Everywhere and Every Way, then chances are it’ll be my favorite Jennifer Probst series!
