New Release Review! HOME TO THE RIVERVIEW INN by Molly O’Keefe (Riverview Inn #3)

Home to the Riverview Inn cover

An emotional and heartwarming novel about forgiveness, motherhood, and how a home is nothing without the people you love inside of it.

Divorced single-mom Daphne likes her life just the way it is. Her organic farm is booming. Her daughter is sassy and happy, she’s got two good friends in Delia and Alice at The Riverview, and yes, her mother is trying to convince her to get back in the dating pool—but Daphne is not interested.

Daphne is done with drama.

But when all the people she loves are affected by the bombshell that gets dropped at The Riverview Inn, she can’t help but get involved.

The Mitchell brothers have been torn apart by the surprise arrival of Jonah, a brother they didn’t know they had.

A man Daphne feels an impossible attraction for.

Jonah, she realizes, isn’t what he seems. But can she convince everyone at The Riverview Inn of that before everything they’ve all worked for is ruined?

Review:

Oh goodness, I loved this one!

Daphne and Jonah’s story was just wonderful; even when I wanted to smack Jonah upside the head for his hardheadedness, I understood why he was making the choices he was. Daphne was just as afraid of a relationship, though for different reasons–she was a bit less shooting-herself-in-the-foot-ish, but her too, I understood her reasons even while wanting to convince her she was wrong.

Fortunately, they both managed to (finally!) remove their heads from their posteriors without me, and their HEA was glorious 🙂

(OMG, Jonah’s attempts to convince Daphne to give him a chance again were glorious–they alone could make the book!)

I loved the glimpses into the past hero and heroines lives that we got here, and seeing the resolution to Iris and Patrick’s story arc. (This book *could* work as a standalone if you really wanted to, but honestly, you’re better off reading all three in order, just to get the full impact of Iris and Patrick’s story. #sorrynotsorry)

Now I’ll just sit here, counting the days until the promised Christmas short story with Cameron…
