Just so I’m not the only one with this song running through my head over and over 😉
This song has seriously been going in an endless loop in my head for weeks–I’m back in grad school (why? WHY? What was I thinking?), this time for Library and Information Services, and am taking a library history course. We learned that Ashurbanipal had one of the first libraries (and the first with evidence of cataloging–because I know you wanted to know that) and of course the Epic of Gilgamesh is the most significant piece of Mesopotamian literature. I’m also doing a research paper for another class that has me looking at libraries from antiquity to the present day, so Ashurbanipal and Gilgamesh are literally EVERYWHERE for me right now. So, yeah. Endless loop. Just thought I’d share. 🙂
