John Green’s The Fault in Our Stars is the Audible Daily Deal today, which means you can get the narration of the full-length novel for only $2.95. I can’t say enough good things about Kate Rudd’s narration–really, she did a stellar job. If you haven’t read this one already, it’s a steal at that price. Even though it doesn’t exactly meet my “I really only want to read HEA” criteria, I still gave it 5 stars and an A rating. Plus, it’s due to be made into a movie soon–I’m a sucker for reading the book first. (You’d think I’d learn, wouldn’t you? I never do. I guess it’s the blonde coming through, or something.)
I do feel the need to warn you, though–don’t listen to this one while out in public. Really. People (and possibly your dog, if you listen to audiobooks while walking him/her) will look at you oddly when you start sobbing out loud for (what looks like) no reason.
Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Learn from my experience.
