Secret Santa Baby
by Robin Covington
About the book:
Tessa Stoneman hasn’t been able to get long-time friend and business partner Nicholas Boone out of her head since they shared a single kiss in college. Even when she dated Nicholas’s best friend. Now that she’s giving up her position at GameNerdz to strike out on her own—and now that she’s single—maybe it’s the right time to see if there’s still something between them.
Nicholas knows once Tessa leaves the company she helped found, they might drift apart. Before she starts her own company in the new year, he wants to woo the woman he fell in love with during college. So he poses as her Secret Santa, gifts her with items from the song “Santa Baby,” and plans a big reveal at the company holiday party. But when his best friend wants to rekindle his romance with Tessa, will Nicholas lose his last chance?

Review:
Secret Santa Baby was a short and sweet friends-to-lovers romance that can take a super annoying holiday song(seriously, does anyone like that song???) and make it cute and romantic….plus, put you in a warm and fuzzy holiday mood to boot. Tessa and Nicholas are so cute together that on the one hand it’s fortunate that this book is so short, since you’re dying for them to get together 🙂 (On the other hand, there’s not a whole lot of development here outside their relationship–honestly, it felt like four people worked at their business, even though I’m sure that’s not the case. For a lot of the book, it seemed that four people made up the entire fictional world–a limitation of being a novella.) Still, this was a fun book to cuddle up with on a snowy day (or a day you wish was snowy, or a day you’re glad isn’t snowy–any day, really)–plus it’s free, so it’s really a win-win 🙂
