SYNOPSIS:
Four years ago, Ayra’s best friend and childhood crush left her to fend for herself in the crappiest family ever. Her dad is forcing her to marry to make alliances, her brother has gone off the deep end in a big way, and to top it all off, her reaper powers have been awakened, something she hoped would never happen. Who the hell wants to put down other werewolves for a living?
And now, just as she’s starting to figure out her place in the world, Vidar’s back from Iceland, looking hotter than ever and still managing to ring all her bells with just a look. All Ayra wants to do is lose herself in him, in the past, but it’s never going to happen. He’s only back and paying attention to her because she’s the reaper. And there’s a little snag in the form of a vow of celibacy he took.
The sparks are undeniable, and Vidar swears he’s the only one who can help her on her journey. But he already left her once…

Excerpt:
In two great strides, he closed the distance between us and swept me up into his arms, enveloping me completely. He felt so warm, familiar, and safe that I couldn’t help but relax into him. The tight vise of his arms took my breath away. But that was all right. I didn’t want to breathe. I wanted Vidar. He was all I had wanted for the last four years. For a moment, I was the teenage girl he’d left behind again; happy, full of hope and dreams, not yet a monster.
But I was a monster now. The anger over him leaving me behind returned in a rush that left me a bit dizzy.
Drawing on my anger, I went against every instinct and desire in me, and I drew away from him. The anger gave me strength. In it, I found an old comfort.
“What are you doing here, Vidar?” I demanded.
