Personally, I don’t think it’s possible to choose just one #ForeverMoment–I could write an entire year of blog posts with mine, I’m pretty sure! I decided to go with a theme–my family; especially my kids. They’re the best thing I’ve ever done, and I couldn’t possibly be prouder of them–even when they’re driving me crazy 🙂
Every year my mother plans a family vacation for my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew, my kids, and I all get to join her on. I can’t speak for everyone else, but it’s the one week I look forward to above all others. Even if it rains for days (and my mom’s going, so it probably will) we always have an awesome time and make all kinds of #ForeverMoments together. This was the Minis–two Moes and two Macs–at the zoo two years ago:
Mini-Moe #1 graduated this past June–just yesterday he was a baby, so I’m not at all sure how that happened! Another #ForeverMoment was when he was getting ready for Prom–he was in a tux! And shaved! And hugging his sister! Miracles all:
And finally, one last #ForeverMoment to share–two years ago, we found out that Mini-Moe #2’s favorite author was going to be at the Baltimore Book Festival. Coincidentally, we have family living in the area, and plane and train tickets to and from that weekend weren’t too outrageously expensive, so I agreed we could go. (A whole weekend revolving around books and spent with my kids–seriously, no downside here!) #2 was deliriously happy in her role as fangirl all weekend long–I’ll honestly never forget how excited she was to meet her idol. She still talks about that weekend:
