I think people loved the first book because of the parallel between Colin having to deal with becoming a teenager while tackling the hairy task of turning into a werewolf and the possibility that he may have eaten one of his classmates. It’s a true zero to hero story as Colin learned to master his new identity and fight his evil biology teacher.
In book #2, THE PERILS OF GROWING UP WEREWOLF, we’re encountering a Colin six months into his change as a werewolf and life is a little different. He has a mentor now in Silas, the werewolf that bit him, he has a parental figure in his witch of a Grandmother, and he has his girlfriend, Becca Emerson. When Elwood’s government protection ends up leaving to hunt werewolves in Europe, Colin’s the only one left to notice that something isn’t right with Elkwood. When the resident demon disappears and some of the already strange townsfolk start acting even stranger, it’s up to Colin and Becca to put the pieces together.

AUTHOR INFO:
Andrew Buckley attended the Vancouver Film School’s Writing for Film and Television program. After pitching and developing several screenplay projects for film and television, he worked in marketing and public relations, before becoming a professional copy and content writer. During this time Andrew began writing his first adult novel, DEATH, THE DEVIL AND THE GOLDFISH, followed closely by his second novel, STILTSKIN. He works as an editor for Curiosity Quills Press.
Andrew also co-hosts a geek movie podcast, is working on his next novel, and has a stunning amount of other ideas. He now lives happily in the Okanagan Valley, BC with three kids, one cat, one needy dog, one beautiful wife, and a multitude of characters that live comfortably inside of his mind.
