I believe in my responsibility as a family member. My heart is open and the love is there…always. No matter what. Life has forced me to see the proof of this, to live by it, and I now know the statement to be completely true. So…Falling for the Brother was ready to be written. And read.
All My Best,
TTQ
Becky on Books – Review of Falling for the Brother
“Ms. Quinn does a fabulous job of keeping everyone–the reader and the characters both–in suspense from start to finish…
As with many of the books in this series, the romance portion of the plot is secondary to the other drama that is going on in the story–especially with the seriousness of what is happening here, that seems exactly as it should be, and when we finally get to an HEA for Mason, Harper, and Brianna, Harper’s daughter, it feels well-earned and more than deserved.”
Harlie’s Books – Review of Falling for the Brother
“Yall this series. I know that I say that every time I review a book in the series but seriously? If you are not reading it, you are totally missing out…
What makes this book special is that it deals with elder abuse, mental abuse, emotionally abuse and manipulation in all forms. But what really drew me in were the tropes that Ms. Quinn used…
Harper and Mason might be my favorite couple.”
Thoughts of a Blonde – Excerpt from Little Angels
Abruptly, there was a pounding on the door, and Meredith turned with a sigh. She kicked off her shoes and walked to the door. The instant she opened it, it pushed back and Devon burst through, holding a blanket in his arms. It took her a moment to realize what was happening.
“Devon, what are…” she started. He moved to the couch, dropping the blanket upon it. Meredith observed his frantic movements in confusion, and then saw a small hand fall from the folds of the blanket. “Oh my God…”
Devon blocked her movement toward the girl in annoyance, and gripped her arms tightly.
“What are you doing?” she asked him.
“Don’t touch her,” he growled.
“Let me go—what did you do?” she asked him, her heart racing. She stared into his black eyes and a cold dread raced down her back.
A Book, a Girl, and a Blog – Review of Little Angels
“So I really enjoyed this book…
In all, I would suggest reading this book whenever you get the chance if you want a suspenseful but romantic book to fill up your afternoon.”
Mello & June, It’s a Book Thang! – Excerpt from Falling for the Brother
Harper skimmed the basic details in the overview, suspended from any kind of reaction, as she searched out identifying information that generally wasn’t her primary concern. How old was the newest resident and where was she from?
Seventy-five. Albina, California.
Hands shaking now, Harper moved her mouse. Clicked. And clicked again, typing codes and passwords that would get her into a database containing the complete file. She was alone in her small office off the main building at the Stand, coffee not even made, and could hear the silence like the roar of the ocean just wooded acres away.
Miriam? At The Lemonade Stand? What had happened?
Aubrey & Co. – Review of Falling for the Brother
“Tara Taylor Quinn’s Falling for the Brother keeps you on your toes. I read this book in two sittings but I really wish it had been just one! I didn’t want to put it down…
This is a story for those who crave to be involved and invested in an emotional story. In this case, its a heartwarming tale of what makes a family – a family where even you, the reader, feel like you could belong.”

Please share a few Fun facts about this book…
Undercover cops have different rules and even though I researched them, my editor kept coming back at me, asking me could he ‘really’ do that. I had to copy and paste to show her that, in California at least, he could…
I usually send in a list of title suggestions, but didn’t get a chance on this book! A flurry of emails were sent to me, but I was at the Romance Writer’s Conference in Orlando and didn’t get them in time! My suggestions aren’t usually the greatest, though, so no harm done!
What do you want people to take away from reading this book?
I hope readers leave this story with a stronger sense of hope – no matter what happens in life, good or bad, there’s always hope for happiness ahead.
underneath the covers – Excerpt from Little Angels
The road was rough, and Nick hung onto the dash for fear of falling out of the jeep. After dispatching the entire force, five teams on the ground and two in the air, they’d lost the signal over half an hour earlier. Being in the middle of the dense jungle made the search almost impossible, but they were closer than they’d been just hours ago.
Nick felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and he lifted it to look, not recognizing the number.
“McFarlane,” he said into the phone and there was silence. “Hello?”
He could barely make out a voice and he looked to Jacobs to stop the car.
“Hello?”
Jacobs stopped the jeep and Nick waited.
“Meredith?” Nick said.
“Hello?” He heard a small voice say back at him.
“Hi, this is Nick, who is this?”
“Lily,” she replied, her voice shaking. “Meredith…”
“Are you with Meredith, sweetheart?”
“She won’t…she won’t wake up…” she said, and Nick’s heart stopped.
E-Romance News – Excerpt from Falling for the Brother
Miriam had been brought to them from the urgent care in Albina; the report didn’t say who’d brought her in and she assumed someone from the urgent care had called The Lemonade Stand. One of Harper’s employees—probably Sandra, who was the most senior officer on duty the previous night—would have driven over to pick her up. Harper would have a report on that, too.
Scrolling further, she stopped. Stared.
Miriam’s abuser was… Bruce Thomas?
She blinked. Read it again. Picked up the phone and hit the first speed dial.
It’s All About the Romance – Excerpt from Little Angels
“Are you ready?”
“For what?”
“For the walk,” he asked.
“You were serious about that?” She asked, he smiled and tilted his head. “It’s gonna rain.”
“So?” He replied. “Just means there will be more hot water for you when we get back.”
“Nice,” she replied with a laugh, as he held out his arms, asking her to join him. “Fine.” She moved up to join him and they began their trek through the jungle. “So how did you find this place, anyway?” She asked him as they crunched through the brush.
“I called in a favor,” he replied, pushing foliage out of their way.
“That was some favor—got any leads into the NSA?”
“Not yet,” he said with a laugh.
“Yeah well, I doubt we’re going to make any friends anytime soon,” she replied as she pushed away a stray branch and stopped. “Nick, what are we doing out here?”
