New Release Review! SEVEN NIGHTS OF SIN by Kendall Ryan (Penthouse Affair #2)

Seven Nights of Sin cover

He’s the powerful CEO. I’m the know-it-all intern.

Things went further than they should have, but I don’t have any regrets. Well, maybe just one…

I went and did the one thing he told me not to – fall in love with him.

Now I have seven days to prove my trust and devotion. Turns out money is a powerful drug, but love is even more addictive.

Seven Nights of Sin is the stunningly sexy and heart-tugging conclusion to The Two Week Arrangement.

Review:

This one took me longer than it should have to read, because I wasn’t crazy about it at first. But it has a solid ending, so…a solid 3-star read in the end.

The first half or so of Seven Nights of Sin was rife with the issues I had with book one ( The Two Week Arrangement ), mainly, the boss sleeping with his unpaid intern (except when he decides to pay her???) is not a good idea, no matter how attracted they are to each other. Then something else happens ((view spoiler)) that made me even crazier and…well, it’s Dom’s twin girls that really kept me reading at that point. They were the only ones on the page making good decisions.

But the ending–despite the dodgy decision making that gets us there–was really, really cute. And I could almost forget what came before, so there’s that. The duet as a whole does have the smoking hot chemistry that Kendall Ryan is known for, and the sexy times throughout are H-O-T.

Although these two books will never be my favorite series of hers since I can’t get past the disparity in situations between the hero and heroine, I do realize that not everyone will get hung up on it. So if that’s not going to be a problem for you, then definitely give them a try.

(Absolutely read book one before this one, though. It’s a duet for a reason.)

Rating: 3 stars / C+

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
