Review:
A romantic suspense that keeps you guessing until the end–my favorite kind!
When All the Girls Have Gone kept me turning the pages, wondering what exactly was going on. I really liked both main characters, Charlotte and Max, and though their attraction had a bit of insta-feel to it, their chemistry was good and I was willing to go with it. Plus, the focus was really on the mystery more than their relationship, so that helped. Because of the suspense of the story we ended up getting a few more POVs throughout the course of it than I’m used to–a few times things could only be seen from a specific person’s viewpoint, one of the hazards of writing a suspense, I suppose–but since we still got plenty of Max-and-Charlotte time it all worked out. 😉
Somehow this is only the second book I’ve read by Ms. Krentz–not quite sure how that happened, but her lengthy backlist makes me happy since I’ll obviously never run out of future books to read 🙂
