Review:
Keep Me In Sight kept me turning the (digital) pages, desperate to know what would happen next and to see the guilty parties get their due (at least, I fervently *hoped* they’d get their due–for a while there, I was a bit concerned…) I really enjoyed the psychic aspect of the story–truly, at times Gia was my favorite character in the book and I would 100% read another book with her in it in the future.
Dan was my clear second favorite, and I was really bummed that he got as little page time as he did. I guess I know why Brynn was in the spotlight for most of the book, but to be honest he was the one I felt the most sympathy for. (Maybe I’m just too old, but Brynn’s need to shore up her courage for nearly every occasion with alcohol got really old really quickly, especially when it’s partially the reason why she can’t remember much from that night. Thankfully she put the bottle down when it really counted–finally–but up until that point? I wanted to throttle her every time she reached for that bottle.)
Though there were some rough edges here (surely audio recordings used for evidence in a murder trial would go through some kind of analysis that would show they’d been doctored? Why didn’t Gia look up the murder trial on the internet? Surely there would have been pictures, solving one question more quickly… The villain, while deliciously devious, was more than a little OTT; their motive was a bit murky. Also, someone should have worked a tad bit harder for forgiveness at the end, IMO) this really was a tough book to put down, as my reading it in a day can attest to. This was my first book from this author, but probably not my last!

Rachel is an American expat, living abroad since 2008. She lived in Sydney Australia for a number of years, Italy, Switzerland, and has sailed over 11,000 nautical miles, crossing the Indian Ocean three times and sinking only once. She hung up her foul weather gear after the birth of her son. And writes thrillers now instead.
She’s the proud granddaughter of two World War II fighter pilot war heros. Richard ‘Blackie’ Blackledge was a WWII B-17 heavy bomber pilot. Post war, he became a successful writer. And George Jensen flew the dreaded B-29 superfortress. They both lived on well into their 90s.
