This was an adorable read…though I would have loved for it to be longer. (I want more details, more background, more cute romantic interludes–and more Sebastian!) An entirely likable heroine who has a definite Cinderella-like vibe going on meets her Prince Charming–oops, I mean Earl Charming and his (fairy) godmother–drat it, I mean grandmother. 😉
She has an odd affinity for plants (I’m of course okay with it, but the ton is not quite so understanding) and he’s sure he really wants someone else…who he befriends Charlotte in order to get closer to. I know what you’re thinking–what a dog. But really, he’s very nice about it–and offers to help her get a suitor at the same time. Naturally, both our hero and heroine know from their first meeting that they can’t possibly get involved–it just wouldn’t work.
Yep. It’s a romance novella. We all know how that’s going to play out, don’t we? 🙂
This one is short enough to read in an afternoon–a quick and light read. I was especially glad to see this one is a first in a series–can’t wait to read more!
