Another fun entry in the Boys of the Bayou Gone Wild series–Donovan and Naomi’s story!
Wildlife rehabilitation expert and reality TV star/internet sensation Donovan Foster (Griffin’s brother from Otterly Irresistible ) is used to a much more exciting life than Autre, Louisiana can possibly offer him (though is that really true? If you’ve read any of the other series books you might say that depends on your definition of “exciting”), so Naomi LeClaire is pretty sure her crush on him will be moot when he eventually decides to move on. Besides, he clearly doesn’t feel the same way about her. Or does he? Getting caught in a hurricane together without anything but a long t-shirt to put on after (is it Nae’s fault that the drawstring shorts just didn’t fit? ;)) proves to be an eye-opening experience for them both. But does her small town have enough to offer a guy who’s used to travelling the world?
I’ve read *most* of the books in this series now (somehow I missed Flipping Love You , but it’s on my TBR) and it’s been fun watching Donovan transition from a guy who loves animals and feeds on the adrenaline rush of working with animals in dangerous situations to a guy to who loves animals and will do anything he can to help them but who also recognizes the value in human relationships too. Naomi is definitely the match for him, and I loved seeing them grow closer here and figure out what an HEA will look like for them.
Their story is sexy and sweet and (naturally) chock-full of animals old and new. It *could* be read as a standalone, but trust me–you’re going to fall in love with everyone in Autre too–do yourself a favor and read them all!
