Review:

Florist Corryna Lawson and award-winning chef Colin Reynolds absolutely did *not* have a meet cute–she turned him down for a date, and shortly thereafter he had his restaurant sever ties with her business. (Coincidence? He says it is, but IDK…) But now the wedding of the century is coming to town, and they’ve both been asked to work it. Can they work together when their jobs are on the line?

Of course they can! Will they complicate things by starting a personal relationship too? Also yes 😉

As it will turn out, there is another *little* complication to come as well…which yes, gets underway *very* early on in the book, but neither Corryna nor Colin have even the tiniest inkling for ages. Or at least ages in romance novel time, anyway 😉 TBH from the blurb I was expecting them to find out much earlier than they did, but IRL it makes sense that they don’t right away (which happens all the time in another HQN line, but I digress…) so that actually worked pretty well. Colin’s initial reaction felt a teensy bit OTT but he got over himself pretty quickly and we got the HEA that we (and they!) were looking for, so all’s well that ends well.

I’m looking forward to reading more from this series!

This is the 3rd book in the Texas Cattleman’s Club: The Wedding series, and though it definitely feels like it’s part of a series, I didn’t feel at all lost starting with this one.
