Review:
Olivia, Keane, and Garrett’s story is a nameless one night stand to oops, we have to work (and live!) together to…well, we all know where this is going book with a side helping of suspense and a whole lot of connection to Ms Blake/Oak’s other books–and I was here for it!
(Though there’s a little part of my brain that will forever feel it’s awfully convenient that there’s so many people for whom MMF threesomes are *exactly* what they need to be complete…and they all know and live relatively close to each other, they’re still so much fun to read)
I enjoyed the relationship dynamic between the three–on the surface it seems like their trio shouldn’t work, but as we learn more about them and their backgrounds it becomes clear that they are exactly what each other needs going forward.
Just a warning, though–if you’re completely new to the author’s books, you’re probably going to get a bit overwhelmed with all the side characters and mentions of past events here, especially in the second half. There’s a lot of overlap between the Sirens, Bliss, and Masters & Mercenaries books, which I assume is related to why the author is using her “Lexi Blake” pseudonym on the Texas Sirens: Legacy books, to reinforce the connections. But for newbies, it’s a little head spinning!
Now don’t mind me, I’ll just be here patiently waiting for Gage and Gigi’s book…
