Review:
The charity anthology put together by this group of authors is always one of the highlights of my fall, and this year’s is no exception! I’m still working my way through this one, but here’s some quick reviews for what I’ve read so far:
Better than Christmas by Brenda St. John Brown and Serena Bell is a best friend’s brother story and a features secondary characters from Bride and Tested and Wilder Adventures as MCs. It’s perfect for fans of the previous books *and* for newcomers! (Side note: I’ve never been so glad to be reading and not actually listening to that karaoke scene… ;))
Rating: 4 stars / A-
Hooking her Heart by Sophia Henry is a short and sweet, age gap/charity date auction story between a single mother and the hot young hockey player she met earlier that morning while washing dogs. Absolutely adorable!
Rating: 4 stars / A-
Always Be My Babka by Melonie Johnson is another fun entry into her MILFs Just Wanna Have Fun series (the first one was in the A Season for Love anthology) but can absolutely be read as a standalone. It’s a short and sweet story about the possibility of finding love again after loss–but don’t read it while hungry, because OMG does that babka sound delicious 😉

(Book as a whole earns 5 stars, because great stories + awesome charity project = 5 stars)
