Review:

Such a sweet story!

Tanner and Jewel’s story has it all–an adorable baby, the holiday season, a second chance at romance–I might have even cried a teensy bit toward the end (and not actually in the strictly Tanner/Jewel storyline, much to my surprise!) Ms McDavid kept this reader turning the pages, desperately hoping that the two of them would be able to get back together, but worrying that they wouldn’t actually be able to resolve the issues–most of which didn’t only involve or were even up to just them–in order to get to a satisfying HEA. Fortunately, they managed to pull it off, and I put the book down with a huge smile on my face.

This is the third story in The Sweetheart Ranch series, but it should work just fine as a standalone. Jewel’s new to the ranch and not related to the other series characters, who only show up around the edges of the story, so this one would be a great place to start. (Though I can’t promise that the wonderful setting and glimpses of those characters won’t make you want to start back at the beginning once you’re finished with this one!)
