A new hockey romance series? Yes, please!
Grizz and Daisy have amazing chemistry, and I loved the emotional depth to their story. Maybe writing with someone else has rejuvenated Ms Bennett’s writing, but this one feels more like her older hockey romances in terms of plot and its ability to grab you by the feels–these characters have flaws (perhaps one of them more than the other) and feel like real people, less like flat characters like those in some of her more recent books.
My only real complaint is how the story just ended–dare I ask for a bonus epilogue? At the very least we’d better get plenty of them in future series books! <3
Counting the days until Julian’s story, and hoping Tanner’s is next!
