eff Rosehill is famously single. So hundreds of fans are super excited to get married on the field, alongside the legendary baseball player turned manager of the league’s best team—and his bride, the mascot.
Little does he know, the regular guy-in-the-costume is sick.
Plus the paperwork the cute girl from Public Relations signed before she filled in? Accidentally very real.
It’s me. I’m the cute girl from PR. The one Mr. Rosehill has never looked twice at. And I’m holding a marriage certificate that says I’m the new Mrs. Rosehill.
Review:
This was cute… and of course steamy AF 😉
I’ll admit I’m not 100% sure how you “accidentally” sign a real marriage certificate in these circumstances, but the results can’t be argued with. I did like that Jeff attempted to give Molly agency here by telling her they wouldn’t consummate until she was sure she wanted to marry him–she could take up to six months as an “engagement” if she wanted to–but that lasted about five minutes? (Maybe a little longer. But only because a road trip was involved… ;)) and they did, ahem, other things before that, so…
Jeff is Sinclaire’s dad and Trick’s former teammate and coach from My First and Only Crush , and it was fun to see them again (with their little boy!) Of course this can be read as a complete standalone, too 🙂
