Everyone knows my criminal past. It’s why Hazel Spencer hates me.
Might also be why she tore off my clothes and climbed me like a tree.
Hey, no judgment. I still can’t forget how she melted in my arms.
Turns out Hazel can’t forget, either, but for different reasons.
Our mind-blowing bang in her mansion’s foyer
left our small town’s famed ice queen knocked up.
It’s a shock to us both, but the truth?
There are worse things having a baby with a smart, sexy woman I like.
A woman who zings from “come hither” to “get lost” so fast my head spins.
Can’t really blame her. Hazel’s dad messed her up good.
The prick earned his own prison jumpsuit and the ire of the Spencer-King family.
And family matters to Hazel.
It’s how I know she’ll be a great mom.
And I’m hellbent to prove I’m daddy material.
A guy who can handle crib building fiascos and baby announcements gone comically bad.
A guy who can make Hazel roar with unladylike laughter.
Someone who sees that behind Hazel’s cool front, she’s secretly tender.
I just need her to trust I can give her the family she’s wished for.
If she’ll only let go of my not-so-hot past.
One-click this hilarious enemies-to-lovers romance about a fling that forever links two complete opposites who might just make the perfect family.
Review:
Possibly my favorite of the series? It’s got some serious competition, so that’s really waying something…maybe because it’s the last one and has me all in my feelings…
(Author’s note says that the last Spencer-King sibling, Noah, will have his own book in a new series which hopefully will come out soooooooon <3)
Honestly, I wasn’t at all sure I even liked Hazel in her earliest appearances in her cousin’s books–she was pretty prickly. She was here too, at times–life hasn’t showed her that trusting people always worked out well for her. But she learned to trust her instincts by the book’s end, and that included seeing her way out of the relationship black moment with a truly memorable grand gesture, so all’s forgiven.
And Luke? No notes. Absolutely loved him from start to finish. I loved how quickly he embraced fatherhood and how hard he tried to keep his promises to Hazel–and how he owned up to it when he couldn’t without breaking other promises he’d made. (I am beyond curious to find out what kind of program it is that Noah was having him do side jobs for. Did I mention I’m anxious for the new series yet?)
And of course, the star of the book–Squash. Proof that every single book doesn’t have to have a dog in it to be awesome!
Move Me could be read as a standalone, but since family (found and otherwise) is such a strong theme here–not to mention they’re all up in each other’s business 110% of the time–the series is best appreciated when you read all of them, in order. You can thank me later.
