He saved her life. She’s never forgiven him. Now they have one week to steal the impossible—or watch her brother become a monster.

Dominic Wilde made a promise three years ago: get Vivianna Cavalier out, no matter the cost. He kept that promise. But when “no matter the cost” meant locking her in a safe house for a week while her brother took the fall for her crimes, it shattered everything between them.

Vivi hasn’t forgiven Dom. She can’t. He stole her choice, her agency, and the chance to stand by Sabin when it mattered most.

But now Praetorian has Sabin. And they want something only Vivi can steal.

Trapped together in a luxury villa under constant surveillance, Vivi and Dom have seven days to plan an impossible heist.

Except they can barely stand to be in the same room.

Except there’s only one bed.

Except every time Dom looks at her, she remembers why she fell for him in the first place.

But if they fail, Praetorian won’t just kill Sabin. They’ll turn him into a weapon that won’t remember his own sister’s name.

Review:

Another pulse-pounding, edge-of-your-seat read with the Wilde Security Worldwide family–ohmygoodness, this series!

The previous book‘s ending really left readers hanging–we knew that something bad had happened to Vivi and Dom, and this one starts out right where it left off, with them just starting to come to zip tied in a basement cell. And honestly, it’s pretty much nonstop action (and stress!) from there!

And if that’s not enough, Dom and Viv’s story also gives us a solid second chance romance with a delicious side of antagonist (on her side) to lovers, with everything made a little more complicated by some close proximity and (oh, no!) there’s only one bed–so essentially, 100% my catnip. Yes, please!

Wilde and Reckless is very much connected to the previous series books, and though you don’t *have* to have read the first 2.5 books to enjoy and understand this one, you will definitely get a more complete understanding of the characters and events if you do. And honestly, the family relationships here are absolutely everything–do yourself a favor and read them all!

And hey, while we’re waiting for the next book (which is going to be so hard to do after that ending, Ms Burrows!!!) why not go back and brush up on the first gen Wildes and maybe even check out Jean-Luc Cavalier‘s (Viv and Sabin’s dad) origin story? Because it’s going to be a loooong…several months? year? however long she makes us wait…

Sigh 🙂
